St. Paul’s Fellowship is a spiritual organization under the Malankara Archdiocese of the Syriac Orthodox Church in North America. The Supreme Patron of the Fellowship is His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Supreme Head of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church and the Patron is His Eminence Archbishop Mor Titus Yeldho.
At the 2002 archdiocesan family conference, a meeting of members from various parishes across the United States & Canada acknowledged a vacuum existing in our spiritual growth and an immediate need for organizing a body of faithful to work together for the remedial cause. There “The St.Paul’s Fellowship” was born. The announcement was warmly welcomed by everyone that reflected the need for such an organization for men, a kind of parallel organization to the St. Mary’s Women’s League (Martha Mariam Samajam). Men also deserve spiritual nurturing rather than being onlookers of events. It is expected that the two organizations of men and women can plan joint activities that are often of common interest in the fields of family life, upbringing children in our church tradition, Gospel study, spiritual growth and helping those who are in need of social & spiritual nurturing. The archdiocese expects that each member parish have a unit of St.Paul’s Fellowship and a unit secretary.
